Bought the 40 inch propane Masterbuilt smoker, loved it. Bought the Masterbuilt 40 inch cover, saw mixed reviews re the fit and value. I had to take the handles off to be able to get the cover on, even then it was a very tight fit. The material was lightweight compared to the cover for my weber BBQ, I don't think it will last long at all. Not worth the money for a number of reasons.

My cover did not stand up to the rain. I bought it a couple weeks ago and it leaked the first rain storm.

It is definitely waterproof, for water beads up on the top of it when it rains. I know it will keep it dry when there is snow, but I don't know if you would want to take it on and off if you are dealing with below freezing temps. Even the best grill covers tend to rip and crack under those conditions.A:
