I recieved this smoker for Christmas and during assembly found a couple of flaws. Where the legs attach at the bottom the nuts are inside the frame they popped lose almost instantly. I am returning the product and going to try another one. I own a smaller smoker that is on its last leg and I need more space to cook in and this is the only smoker that is in my budget at this size. Other than the legs my only other complaints will be the wood chunk pan (it has holes in it that will definelty allow the wood to catch fire), and the latch is great at keeping it shut tight but it would have been nice to have it built in the handle to be simple to close and open. I think that you have to be extremelly careful with the legs (no sliding on the ground and take precautions not to damage) it will be a great smoker.

This was a Christmas gift from my wife. The way she's planning for meals, it may have been a gift to her that I get to use. This thing is awesome! Over twice as large as my old unit and much more versitile. We broke it in with a prime rib roast, sausage and bacon to see what she could do. Performance was flawless and it's almost self cleaning due to the design. I can't recommend this any higher than 5 stars or I would.

i got this smoker for christmas and i smoked a 13lb turkey with hickory chunks and i used it in side of my grandpas old smoke house out of the wind and it works great it was ready to eat in 6 in 1/2 hours open the door several times to add chunks and fill the water pan also i pre socked the chunks over nite in wine ,the door dosent seal the best it has a gap on the side but i can live with that turkey was verry good and had great smoke rings inside of the meat verry tasty thanks bass pro the price was great the heat was verry easy to control i kept it at 235 -250 deg the meat at just off the bone when done was 185 deg

WE USED THE SMOKER A FEW DAYS AFTER RECIEVING IT. ASSEMBLY WAS EASY AND ALL PARTS FIT WELL. WE PUT 10 LBS OF TROUT FILLETS IN IT WITH SOME APPLE WOOD CHIPS.
THE TEMP STAYED CONSISTENT AND THE FISH CAME OUT GREAT. IT'S ALL GONE ALREADY. HAVE TO CATCH MORE FISH NOW ! GOING TO TRY SOME BEEF NEXT.
