I backed in to hook up the boat and my trailer ball hit one end of this lock and snapped it . Anyone can hit it with something and break it off. Very poor quality for a $15 lock.

I purchased this lock as a replacement for a Reese lock that gave up the ghost after just 6 months. I was very disappointed after getting home and opening the package that the keys were miscut or had been mispackaged. Was never able to get the lock open to place on the trailer

The width of the area the latch lock goes through is much wider on the UFP couplers, so the lock needs to be longer. The length of the 55374000 is 3-1/2" and the length of the 55374800 is 7/8", so if you have a UFP you would want the 55374000.1 of 1
