Rated 4 out of 5 by Bowtip Protector Technically you only need one on the lower limb - but I decided to get two for both limbs. They are durable and easy to install (a few minutes) if you have a bowstinger. I put them on my Greatree recurve. Stitching could come loose from vibration - there are synthetic tip protectors - but a nice wooden recurve begs for leather. I really like the look. I would recommed this product if you have a traditional bow and want to take good care of it. February 1, 2013
