I have owned this rifle for a little over 2 years. I love it. Well made, accurate, and reliable. It is something you can take out and you know will get the job done. And Bass Pro has it alot cheaper than most stores ive been to. But if you are short on cash, or you do not trust Marlin after the Remington buy out I would go with a Mossberg 464 bush gun.

I have owned this rifle for 4 years now. I chose this as a replacement to my .30-06 which was way too powerful for the short distances I always found myself hunting in the southeast. I could not be happier. I have only had the opportunity to get out in two deer seasons but have taken 5 deer with it out to 100 yards.
The rifle is solid and well balanced making it easy to manipulate while seated in a treestand. The 30/30 caliber is comfortable to shoot and proven game killing round. Combined with the Hornaday Leverevolution ammo it cannot be beat in short to medium ranges.

I just bought this Marlin 336XLR 30/30 and upon arriving home I noticed that the front sight is not completely centered. Is there a way to adjust this or do I bring it back to the store. Cover of the sight is off to the right.1 of 1
