Good Air Pump The battery life on this thing is no joke. I have kept batteries in this air pump for weeks (not running the whole time) without having to replace. I have had to replace the air stone but that was really cheap. this air pump works great I have used it in a minnow bucket and in a live well I made from a old ice chest. November 10, 2012
Fish Alive Have used this on several occasions and find the batteries last a long time and the fish are still alive and healthy after four or five hours on the lake. July 1, 2014
QUIET!!! I purchased this aerator because the one I have used for years was annoyingly loud. No one in the store had used it and could offer advice to the legitimacy of it really being quiet. I took a chance and bought it. Used it today for the first time. Around 3 gallons of water in a 5 gallon bucket and probably 6-8 dozen minnows and at the end of a 9 hour day on the water, probably 4-5 dozen were left. and there were only 2-3 that weren't alive. The rest were in great shape and wishing I could have done a better job of putting them to work catching fish. The only thing I could hear was the sound of the bubbles themselves on the bottom of the bucket. A styrofoam lined bucket would have eliminated that sound as well. As far as the pump itself is concerned, I had to pick it up and put it to my ear to hear if it was working because it's so smooth, you can't feel it running let alone hear it. I swapped the stone and hose from my old one because it was a longer hose and the stone was heavier. I didn't like the few wraps of wire that came with it for weighing down the stone. WELL worth the money if you fish in quiet conditions and want to not hear your aerator. June 15, 2014
