does a good job moving water around in my livewell, only thing i don't care for is this sucking sound it makes when running ,gets on your nerves after a while

Yep Salt water is where I use it. Don't do fresh water fishing , but could certainly be used in fresh water. When done I hose it down very well and dry it in the hot sun.CCC
