Turns pump on automatically, as water exceeds safe limits. The switch now has 33% higher surge capacity for extra protection from heavy current loads. Its 15-amp rating makes it suitable for use with high-amp draw pumps, too. Rapid on-and-off cycling is prevented by a specially designed differential. 12V.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Did not fit in my bilge area I could not use this switch because it is large for a bass boat application and would not fit in my bilge area. It also has a lot of travel before it switches on -- I did not want that much water in my boat before it switches on January 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by just what i needed installed my automatic float switch and it works perfectly. for rough water or when leaving boat tied at the dock or when on the lake in the rain its nice to know the water will be pumped out automaticly. July 12, 2011
