Great Search Bait
A must have in any fishermans arsenal! I purchased a couple 1/2oz and 1/4oz and both produced Crappie and Bass! The only reason for 4Stars is the quality on the back wire. 1 had paint so thick I had to work at it to get the blade to work properly and the other the ball bearing would work its way into the end of the wire causing the blade to stop spinning. Im worried that a few aggressive Whites might destroy these wires too.

Best all-round lure, period!
Lil George is THE go-to lure when I'm out searching for fish of almost ANY species! Have caught White Bass, Striper, Largemouth, Smallmouth, Crappie, Catfish, Drum, Perch, Bluegill, Carp, etc. Throw a Lil George and you'll know whether or not there are any fish in your vicinity! Will not leave home without it!

If that's what they want, yes. Buy several because they get hung easily in brush...unless you remove two of the three treble hooks or BETTER YET, replace the trebble hook with a slightly larger single hook. the single hook is also less likely to get thrown by a jumping fish AND much easier/quicker to remove from the fish than is a trebble.
Make the cast and then experiment with the sink time. Some western lakes are hundreds of feet down so it might be some time. Then lift and reel back stopping from time to time to let the bait flutter back a few feet.
