ROLLER I HAVE SEVERAL, NONE OF THEM WORK. ALL THEY DO IS ROLL. THE 25'S WORK WELL BUT NOT THE 30'S. FISHING SALTWATER April 8, 2011
Mann's Jointed works well I used the 8" Mann's Jtd for Pike. It trolled to the depth as advertised, and it ran true. I would hope that Mann's would put out the Jointed lure in the textured finish. Although I did catch Pike on this lure, I suspect that it would be even better in the textured finishes. July 6, 2010
bad troller I was trolling this lure and they just would roll and roll i tried different speeds different distances and still the same. i would not buy another jointed stretch 30. April 20, 2009
Stripers I recently obtained a copy of, the magazine Center Console, from a friend of mine, with whom I fish with. On page 14, there was a story of a man who had broke the existing Virgina State Striper record. This fish also had broke the 70 lb. barrier, of which you rarely ever see. Much to my amazement, I saw that the fish was caught on a Mann's Stretch 30 trolling plug., a plug that we use on a regular basis. The article went on to state the color was red and white, which is #81 in that plug. We live close to a large lake impoundment here in Georgia, and fish it regularly, mostly for stripers, and hybirds. I perfer to troll artificial lures, as opposed to live bait., not that live bait isn't productive, but to me personally, I just like the feel of a fish hitting my line, going wide open in the opposite direction. We have caught many a fish on the Mann's stretch series lures, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves to fish for the big ones. We haven't caught any 70 pounders yet, but as largemouth bass fishermen say, the World Record may be your next cast. With this in mind, you'll find us on the rolling on the river. March 8, 2008
