Eyes on crankbaits my not be red

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 57 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by best lure for shallow waters This is the greatest lure I've ever used. I had to replace my first one because I caught so many bass it pulled the paint off the sides. I would recommend this lure to anyone. They are a must in my tacklebox. September 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Shallow Wake Bait!! This is an excellent crankbait for that 1-2 foot range. It will also just wake the service by keeping your rod tip high. By lowering your rod tip you can make it dive to around 2 foot. The Mann's 1-minus is my go to bait for fishing above weeds. It does an excellent job and the action is just awesome!! Big fish can't resist the Mann's in shallow grass! It also has some weight to it so you can cast it a mile and even on those windy days where those lighter crankbaits make for some unpleasant back lashes, the 1-Minus will not give you that problem. If you love fishing crankbaits and love fishing grass but can't find the right crankbait for that situation, get you some Mann's 1-Minus and you will not be disappointed! June 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Bait I have great success with this lure around the spring, and have most success with the brown crawdad color. Catches a lot of fish with that color and the variations of it. One problem, I own several of these lures. The paint seems to melt and crack after a while and makes the lure look sticky and poorly painted. This doesn't stop the lure from catching fish though and definitely recommend this bait. Love the wide wobble and has very boisterous rattles! Great lure! November 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Shallow Water Bait I've used the fire shad color to catch bass and redfish in the marsh ponds. I sweep the rod tip to make the bait move about a foot or two, then pause the bait. As I pause I reel in the slack moving the tip toward to the bait and repeat the process. April 10, 2013

Brown craw in summer and fall, red craw in spring. There's also a few options for different shad and minnow colors.

A:
Well. smallmouth love crawdads, as do most fish, so the crawdad color would be a good start.

A:
Any crawdad imitation works best, depending on the season, but I have great success with the baby bass and gold chrome.
