This product is fantastic for that little extra space that is needed on the malibu kayak, I started off by putting my tackle and things in the footwell, when this came along it freed my foot wells from lures and gear lying around, and the structure of it doesnt get imto the way,its a nice little addition to an already great kayak.

The X-wing console is by far the best aftermarket rigging console available. The slide tracks make installation and removal a breeze, and the rigging options are limitless.

The X wing was a great purchase for me and gave me a perfect platform to attach my fish finder to my kayak without actually having to permanently mount it to the boat. The fish-finder/ battery is all self enclosed so I can easily put the X wing on or take it off as needed and didn't have to put a single hole in my kayak. I was also able to mount 2 additional rod holders and a cigarette lighter plug for accessories on the x wing that I hooked up to the battery I store inside. Mounting is as easy as putting in 6 screws and sliding the x wing on. You can slide it forward to use and down to keep it out of the way when not in use or paddling. It was a great upgrade to my X-13.
