Not a Stealth but pretty durn close
I have had the joys of owning the old x factor and playinng around several times in the new one, the older design was fantastic, in the newer one the rode holders are a little out of reach with them being on the front hatch, other then that it is a great kayak that can be taken from the bay to offshore and you wont have to fret!

Awesome flats stalking machine
I currently have a couple of the older X-Factors. Got a new 2012 X-Factor about 2 months ago and would say there is a big difference. First difference would be the extra hatch which I use for a cooler for those warm days on the water. This compartment can be also plumbed for a livewell as well which is my future plan. One of the other key features in the improved standing area for sight fishing. Out there on the flats it is almost a must to be able to sight cast to redfish. Standing and stability are no problem in this kayak. I feel very comfortable standing without the fear of falling in and I am a big guy. Paddling the X-Factor is easy, tracks straight and a good speed. It is very quiet with very little if any hull slap. Cuts the water well and punches through a good chop. Seating is very comfortable with the COD Spider Seat. There are days that I speng 5-8 hrs. on the water in total comfort. Storage is another big plus with hatches in the tank well, one in front of the seat, and the large gator hatch that you could easily fit all your camping gear. Summer is and can't wait to take it off the beaches this summer for kings, cobes and tripletail. Another thing I love about it that the sides we designed much higher towards the bow which will make it a breeze to punch through the surf. Malibu makes the best kayaks and I have paddle many.

Won't go wrong with the X-Factor
The Malibu X-factor is an awesome kayak. A cross between a fishing and recreational kayak, the X-factor is a great boat for any paddler. Like all of the Malibu boats, the X-factor is super stable- you really have to try to flip one. The X-factor is a breeze to paddle and turns on a dime. The amount of usable storage space is second to none, with the largest rear well on the market, and 2 large hatches w/ self draining trays. When packed correctly, you can fit everything you need for a week long float/camping trip, or everything you will need to head offshore to plunder the depths of the ocean. You money is well spent with Malibu Kayaks, and you won't go wrong with the Mailbu X-factor.

I got the X-Factor because I wanted a kayak that could carry all my camping gear, my dog, and I comfortable. Also, I wanted to fish and be able to stand up, plus carry all the gear that we know we all take. Well the X-Factor is perfect. It's plenty long and wide to provide awesome stability. The amount of storage that it has is unbelievable. You can store everything in it. It has a weight capacity of 600 pounds, which is more than enough. It tracks really well, but it's not for speed. I takes a little bit to get going, but its a great paddle after that. I would recommend a rudder system. The rudder helps tremendously with turning and paddling into winds. It's a little on the heavy side, but I could put it in the back of my truck no problem. If your going to carry it it would take to people or the use of a cart. This is a great all around kayak for anything you need.
