Spring loaded to flip up when activated on either side of the sight or by pressing the top
Provide the same height-over-bore as standard A2 irons
Tailored for the AR15/M16/M4 platform
Low-cost, folding back-up sights specifically tailored for the AR15/M16/M4 platform, the Magpul MBUS MSR Back-up Sights activate and adjust easily to give you trustworthy accuracy in a pinch. These sights clamp to nearly any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny/STANAG 4694 railed hand guard on the same plane and provide the same height-over-bore as standard A2 irons. Made of impact resistant polymer, these lightweight sights can stand up to operational abuse. Both front and rear sights are spring loaded to flip up when activated on either side of the sight or by pressing the top. Both front and rear sights feature protective wings to shield the sights, which also fold out of the way under impact. Rear sight features a dual aperture and windage adjustment with the detent knob. Front sight features elevation adjustment and spring-locked post that holds consistent elevation. Generation 2 sights. Front and rear sights sold separately. Made in USA.
NOTE: Cannot be mounted to a railed gas block due to excess heat issues. Front MBUS must be mounted to a railed fore end on the same plane as the receiver rail. Because of this the sight is not compatible with the MOE Hand Guard.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Indianapolis great product
This is a great sight for the money. Mounts easily in very little rail space. Springs into position with one touch of the release and locks into place solid. As usual Magpul makes a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by fleshnugget Great quality bus
Came on my m&p15 and couldn't be happier. Flip up quick due to the high quality spring. Easy to adjust and lay very flat. I like them a lot.

The front sight is 49.99 while the rear sight is 69.99, not exactly the deal you were probably hoping for.
Check out Tech Sights website for some very high quality sight systems that utilize the aperture sight picture without costing an arm and a leg. I mounted the TSR-200 sights on my Ruger 10/22 and I'm shooting tight groups with just the iron sight upgrade.
