We were at Bass pro Shop and asked if they had any frozen anchovies, they said no but we do have these (Magic Preserved Anchovies) so we thought OK let's give them a try. Well they were magic allright. Made the fish disappear. We were out all day, tried numerous locations where there were fish. As soon as we put these things in the water the fish disappeared. On our last attempt to even just get a nibble on our line we went to the tires and dropped our line in about 100ft of water where there were fish. We cut up a whole bag of these things and dropped them. There was not one fish would eat any of this excuse for bait.

Ever wonder where the anchovies on your pizza come from? The ones on pizza weren't high quality enough to use for bait.

The fluid in the anchovies is embalming fluid. It dosent attract fish at all, and your better off with fresh anchovies and shads.

I used this product this week for the first time
and was plesantly suprised. I caught 6 NICE SIZE catfish in less than an hour. ranging from 1.6 lbs. to 3.2 lbs. Good eating
size. One problem though. They don't stay on the hook real well, so be sure and use Bass Pro's Bait Lure it works perfectly. They can smell the bait, taste the bait, but they
have to take the hook if they really want it.
