Magic Bait Prepared Dough Catfish Bait
Good cat bait!
The bait is very stinky and perfect for attracting those cats. The only two problems are that the bait dosent stay on the best and the package should be a resealable one! Great for channels and bullheads! Even carp and blues take it! A tip is to mend three pieces together on a copper wire treble hook to keep the bait on!

Works Well If You Can Tolerate The Smell
This is the worst smelling bait I have ever used but it catches catfish well. It wil not stay on a regular hook very well but if you use a treble with the bait spring it works well. Be sure and take some wipes with you because you can't hardly get the smell off your hands after baiting your hooks. If you can tolerate the smell this will work well for you and it will also catch carp too.

I have used this stuff since I was a kid fishing strait down on the old boat docks 15 years ago. I would tear up this fish with this stuff. But casting it was very difficult because it would fall off the hook. But thanks to the new Spring Treble Hooks this bait is now back in the tackle box for channel cats. If you are using the spring treble hooks you can cast this stuff over a 100 yards and it will not fall off. I use the Great Scott Cheese flavor for small lakes ponds that don't have shad populations and Whopper Shad Dough for large lakes and rivers. Make sure after you put this stuff on the hook to soak your bait for 5 seconds to set the dough.
