Rated 5 out of 5 by Great little GPS unit I have had this unit for about 6 months and LOVE it. It is usually right on track and has never led me in the wrong direction. Even when I have thought it was wrong due to being under trees, it has turned out the lat/long for the cache was off. It is rugged and very easy to use. When we are out geocaching, my 13 year old daughter uses it mostly. I have now ordered me one just so that we don't have to share. :-) If I were to say one negative thing about it, that would be the battery life. I think that should be improved on, but mostly... it never warns you when it is going to die. It's just gone. So always make sure you have spare batteries with you. September 27, 2011

Does it have water/ocean maps? Or is it primarily for the geocaching? I want a GPS for when I am boating and for ocean trips, would this be a GPS for my applications?

My sis-in-law has one and it seems to be best suited for Geocaching. I would suggest finding a boating GPSr that can load custom waypoints if you need that as a priority but want to do both.
