  • Protects prop from hidden obstacles
  • Durable stainless steel construction
  • Forms a protective cover around bottom blade

Protect your prop from hidden stumps and gravel beds with the River Runner. Made of high-impact stainless steel, it won't rust or corrode, and it forms a protective cover around your bottom blade. Includes skeg protector, gravel deflector, bottom plate protector, shock absorber, pressure plate and mounting hardware. Not designed for human protection.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works okay The add pics show it being much wider than it is. It does not protect the side of the propeller blades. I made side guards on mine. The steel is thick and it seems to work just fine for bottom protection. I think it's a bit overpriced. August 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent product and value Great product and excellent value. First river runner I purchased was for a new 2004 Sylvan c/w 60hp. worked great . Traded Boat in 2008 for new Sylvan Pro Sport c/w 150 E Tec motor and installed second river runner immediately. June 2012 hit a submerged rock the river runner took the impact and was lost but saved a lot of costly damage to Prop & Skeg. The third river runner is on the motor. The River runner also adds extra protection to your skeg when launching & retreiving Boat. You might loose a little speed per hr. But I off set that with a HydroFoil from Bass Pro. August 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product This is the second Mac's River Runner prop saver I have installed. Believe me it is worth every dime in saved props. Before using this product myself or others using my pontoon boat would ding about 2 or three props a year resulting in prop rebuilding at $60 bucks a pop. May 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by An added safety for the prop These have been added to all of my outboard motors in the past. Just added it to my new mercury 60 outboard and it fits nicely. Nice item for the lakes but a must for most rivers due to rocks and trees. Saves a lot of props. May 11, 2012
