The integrated recoil-reduction sling makes this handy MTM Shoulder Guard Rifle Rest a convenient shooting platform for all hunting rifles, even magnum caliber loads. With a four-point flexible base, this shooting rest helps ease the punishment your shoulder takes when sighting in powerful rifles, making the effort more productive and easier. Rest features a central storage compartment that can hold front rest in transport or contain stabilizing weight during use. Rubber shooting pads support and grip nearly any shape stock or barrel. Front rest features special design that accommodates swivel screws, so you don't have to take them off to sight in the gun! Front rest offers 3'' of height adjustment. No-slip rubber feet. Durable and lightweight.
Great bench rest for the money. It handled my .270 and it took quite the load off my shoulder while shooting the 12 ga. slug gun. Have only used it the one round of shooting but no complaints so far.

best bang for my bucks
I choose this stand for 2 reasons. Firs,t it was perfect for my son and I to just do 22 plinking, acurate target shooting, without spending 3-4 times more. The price for us was great, in addition to the previous reviews making my decision. Second, was the recoil pad feature of this model for when we fire something bigger, my old bones need some protection. Great deal, great price, and great quality. We are not hunters but love to target shoot.

Works well for sighting in guns and reducing recoil. Great way to clean your guns.
