Great Product I used this to sight in my 12 gauge slug gun. This used to be a chore but the shoulder guard rest eliminated most of the recoil and is a real solid rest. With this product i shot 4in groups at 200 yards with my slug gun. Great Product!!! November 10, 2006
MTM After spending the afternoon sighting in my 270, 257, and my 44 magnum rifle I felt as though I hadn't fired a single round. My shoulder and I both love this rest. August 24, 2007
MTM Shoulder Guard Rifle Rest I used this product to sight in two 12 gauge slug guns, a .50 cal muzzleloader, and a .243 cal rifle all in the same day. Without this product I know my body would not have been able to take the beating from all of these punishing guns in one day. The recoil is still felt but it is greatly reduced. My only problem was finding enough weight to hold it down. December 5, 2006
Worth the Money This is the first rest I have ever used, found that it was very light weight so I had to add 25 lbs of shot to the holder in the bottom. Also added a strap to the front rest (made out of old dog collar) to hold the gun down from jumping out. MTM may want to add something like this to the rest. I was shooting a .50 cal muzzeloader and 16 ga. shotgun with slugs so both have a good kick. The results were great with bulls eyes at 100 to 150 yards with no shoulder discomfort. September 8, 2010
