I got 2 of these for dove season, they will pull them in from anywhere. later in the year i used them for pigeons with dove decoys. there was flocks of 300 to 400 landing on top of them. Now i use them for duck hunting they work great for that too.

I like this product because it is light and easy to disassemble for packing into the duck blind locations. However, I had the battery door stuck closed and couldn't get access. Bring a flat blade with you. Then after that, the battery door fell off after bumping it in the blind. Lucky to find it. Bring some black or camo tape with you in case you lose it. Then the wing bolt that holds the wing on the shaft is treaded too loose. Just a matter of time when it will vibrate off and drop into the water. I put gasket sealer on the threads in hopes that will stiffen up the wing bolt. But with these safeguards it should be a great unit. I bought a Sanyo recharable battery package for it. The Thang ran all morning, 3 hrs. and 2 hr. afternoon followed by another 3 hr. morning hunt and was still going strong on the same charge.
This Thang seems to work better than the MOJO duck due to less surface area spin when ducks get wary.

Even though this is designed as a duck decoy, try it on doves. We did & it pulls in birds like you wouldn't believe. Combined with some Featherlite dove dekes on a fence behind you or on the tips of willow trees along the river or creek bed & you have the shooters on either side wondering if they'll EVER get a shot. They will, the ones you miss.....
