Expedites set up and take down. Extends battery life and speeds up the rpms (due to lighter wings). It's very nice to no longer have to dink around with the thumb screws, especially when the weather turns cold and hands are half frozen. Magnets are very strong. The wings will NEVER come off accidentally.
