MOJO Outdoors MOJO Mallard Motorized Duck Decoys
Best decoy in my spread
I bought the drake decoy with the remote at the beginning of the season. I love this decoy and wouldn't go hunting without it. I've found 3 people that don't like them. Someone who can't afford it, someone who hunts around you, and someone who is looking to try and buy it off you. The magnets that hold the wings on are very powerful never had one fall off. I also made my own extension pole so i can put it in deeper water(it was cheaper than buying one). I have noticed that the geese don't seem to be attracted to it though but that's were the remote comes in. If you have the funds buy it you won't regret it.

Maybe it's just the one I got, but the magnetic wings are really hard to get off. Because the tolerance is so tight, It's hard to get enough leverage to pull them off without damaging the foamboard wings. It's certainly not "fast and easy" as advertised. Again, maybe it's just the specific one I received but it makes the thumbscrews seem pretty good. Other than that, it looks and works great.

Needs some improvement
I purchased this decoy for the upcoming season. I have used it for 6 hunts so far. While the decoy itself works well, there is definite room for design improvement. The pole does not have a point on the end like the dove decoy which makes it very difficult to secure in a flooded rice field. Over time the pole leans or swivels from the movement of the spinning wings unless it is deep enough to get into the hardpan under the mud. Without a point on the end of the pole, it takes quite a bit of force to make it work. The bottom section of the pole is now bent to a point where it will have to be replaced for the second segment of the duck season. I am going to make a third section that has a pointed end for the new pole so this will work better in the future. Also, the velco strap securing the battery needs to be more secure. The battery will fall out if the decoy is not carried upright tilted forward. A little duct tape fixes this.

short range remote
First trip for the remote control mojo was a bust. Remote did not work past 8-10 feet. Spent more money to send it back. Still waiting on a replacement. Customer service at MOJO was friendly and helpful.
Hoping for better luck on the replacement.
