M.A.D.® Calls Heat Bleat® Deer Call - Model MD-516
I bought this grunt not knowing what i was doing and turned out great. The first day that i went out bowhunting i took it along to experiment because i had never used it before. Right after daylite i decided to grunt. About two or three minutes later out walked a huge 10 pointer. He was looking for the doe. I didnt get a shot at him but if i did i would have mounted him for sure.

I bought this call on a Friday night. Took it home and it was working fine and sounded good. I took it out Saturday night hunting and had a buck in the woods. Got the call out blew on it nothing. It wasn't frozen it simply was broken. I didn't even get to use it one day hunting. Don't know how it would break because I had it around my neck the whole time. This call sounded great, but if it can't last around my neck I would hate to see what it would look like being in a bag on a trip. Would not recommend any of the M.A.D. calls to anyone. Since it is a mouth call I can't return it so before buying be aware that it is so fragile it could break just hanging around your neck and you are out $12.

This call is worth the money. opening weekend of gun I called in a spike buck . I was hunting on the ground and the wind was in my face so i blew the call behind be about 5 times and about 15 minutes later (i was standing up) i look behind me and he was 10 yards away staring right at me he came in fast i get my gun almost up then he just turns around and walks away in some thicket. So this call works good in the pre-rut also. The only bad thing is if it is to cold the call will lock up.

Bought this item and tested it out at work (some domesticated deer), a buck and a doe showed alot of interest and another pair of does showed up. Will be using this in the woods Thanksgiving weekend.
