The versatile Lyman® Universal® Case Trimmer allows reloaders to trim virtually all size cases from .17 caliber up to a .458 without additional costly collets. Featuring Lyman's patented Universal Chuckhead, this easy to use trimmer which handles any case from .17 caliber to .458 Winchester Magnum. Trimmer allows both coarse and fine adjustments and utilizes an adjusting ring that lets you ''dial in'' to an approximate setting for quick repeatability. I purchased the Lyman case trimmer about a month ago. I am very satisfied with the purchase for the price. The trimmer is very easy to set up and use. I load quite often in small amounts so the amount of physical labor involved doesn't affect me (i.e. turning the manual crank). And if it does cause aggravation in the future i can always purchase the adapter for using the 18v drill. Also the included pilots are a huge bonus. Each one would cost a couple bucks each. I would definitely recommend this product.

There not much you can say about something that does what it is suppose to do and that it does it so well.No problem with trimming 223. to 30-06 cases, make a few adjustments and your ready to go The casing holder locks the shell in tight with no movement while trimming , easy to operate.But like every thing man made the cutting head wears out. After trimming about 900 or so rounds. So when you make a purchase make sure to order extra cutting heads or spend the money to buy a carbon one.
