Rated 4 out of 5 by OlDad Reload 4 Future I like my Lyman, it is in-arguably a well known name and brand and I have learned an awful lot just reading the 49th edition book which I was sure to do before I ventured into the reloading field. I am confident that it will lead me to a new and money saving hobby since I no longer reload shotgun shell loads as well as give me a new focus on how to better shoot my rifle and perhaps lead me into some benchrest or competitive shooting. I look forward to every step and addition to my reloader and hope to enjoy each one to it's utmost capacity. December 30, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wirebender Very Good Value This Lyman kit is very good value for the money spent; most components are good ones I would buy individually and are not bottome of the line. September 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by shemgumbo Great Press Only thing you'll need is dies and another shell holder block to get starter. The assembly instructions are mediocre at best and could use updating. Other than that everything is awesome. Works great, buy it with some dry teflon or graphite lube. March 22, 2011

Details:Will all bushings for shellholders work with this rig?
A:Yes Lyman has all necc dies and shellholders for this press
A:yes as long as they are 7/8-14 thread. they are almost every single one of them that way with the exceptio of .50 bmg
A:Yes RCBS dies can be used with it. I have Hornady 7.62 x 39 dies, .308 rcbs dies and Lee .45 acp dies.
A:Unless there is a T mag kit for shot shells I think you are out of luck. This is a metal cartridge reloader.
A:Manually using a handle on the side of the turret. The handle can pop out and be put back into the opposite side of turret to keep work area free of the obstruction.
A:It has a detent at each postion and a lock for use.
A:The Turret plate has a spring and ball bearing pinned into it that rides on a hardened steele plate that has detents in it and is drilled and roll pinned into place.
A:go to youtube look up the press you are enquiring about and i am sure you will find a video explaining this-- it may even be from the manufacturer

A:The turret on the press is very well made and high quality. There is a handle the goes in the turret in one of 2 locations, and is very easy to move. It locks in the correct place each time you move it, with the dies positioned to do their job.
Details:and what extra parts parts or things will i need
A:Lymans T mag kits. It's a good press for the 7mm and has almost everything you need.
You will need dies. (bullet seating, decaping, sizing.). I like Redding. If you are reloading for only one gun I recommend a neck sizing die. You can get by with the built in primer but I suggest a hand primer. They are pretty cheap.
I recommend searching reloading on You Tube. There's some very informative videos. You can learn how to set up and use your dies. Tips on reloading general. Caring for equipment.
A:that appears to be everything you will need. Except i would trust a balance beam scale for absolute trueness. electronic scale tend to wander so it is something to look at. but for what you need to get started yes it is.
