I like my Lyman, it is in-arguably a well known name and brand and I have learned an awful lot just reading the 49th edition book which I was sure to do before I ventured into the reloading field.
I am confident that it will lead me to a new and money saving hobby since I no longer reload shotgun shell loads as well as give me a new focus on how to better shoot my rifle and perhaps lead me into some benchrest or competitive shooting.
I look forward to every step and addition to my reloader and hope to enjoy each one to it's utmost capacity.

This Lyman kit is very good value for the money spent; most components are good ones I would buy individually and are not bottome of the line.

Only thing you'll need is dies and another shell holder block to get starter. The assembly instructions are mediocre at best and could use updating. Other than that everything is awesome. Works great, buy it with some dry teflon or graphite lube.

go to youtube look up the press you are enquiring about and i am sure you will find a video explaining this-- it may even be from the manufacturerTop 1000 Contributor
A:
The turret on the press is very well made and high quality. There is a handle the goes in the turret in one of 2 locations, and is very easy to move. It locks in the correct place each time you move it, with the dies positioned to do their job.Details:
and what extra parts parts or things will i needAnswers
A:
Lymans T mag kits. It's a good press for the 7mm and has almost everything you need. You will need dies. (bullet seating, decaping, sizing.). I like Redding. If you are reloading for only one gun I recommend a neck sizing die. You can get by with the built in primer but I suggest a hand primer. They are pretty cheap.
I recommend searching reloading on You Tube. There's some very informative videos. You can learn how to set up and use your dies. Tips on reloading general. Caring for equipment.
A:
that appears to be everything you will need. Except i would trust a balance beam scale for absolute trueness. electronic scale tend to wander so it is something to look at. but for what you need to get started yes it is.A:
Any kit will work. All you need extra is a 7mm die set.1 of 1
