The Lyman Gen5 Touch Screen Powder System is an electronic powder scale and automatic powder dispenser in one convenient unit. Accurate to one tenth grain, the Gen5 dispenses all types of smokeless powder at two grains per second. In addition, it features an auto repeat function that drops a precise charge each time the pan is reset. Based on totally new digital technology that overcomes problems commonly experienced by older designs, the Gen5 system is packed with additional state of the art improvements like a fast, three-minute warm-up, new anti-static and anti-drift technology and a sophisticated electronic shielding to resist interference from other electronic devices, such as cell phones. The top of the line Gen5 adds the benefit of an extra large, easy-to-read LCD screen and touch screen controls. Rated 1 out of 5 by waste of money I have had 2 diferent gen 5s in the last 4 days. The first the beeper didnot work and I was unable to remove the powder tube to clean it without making a bent wire to hold the motor drive that wes set into the case. The 2nd gen5 the beeper didnot work also and when the cover over the pan was opened or closed the powder drop was 1.8 to 2.1 g +or- not good returned both units may purchase rcbs for now I'll be unloading 100 rounds.
