So far I have 2 sets of these in 12 GA, a set for 30-30. I plan on purchasing more sets for other rifles and pistols, as they're a rather good tool for the training of children and adolesants.

I’m old school. I mean I’m only 42 but old school so I don’t dry fire my weapons. I know that for most major manufactures it is safe to do so, I still don’t do it. I primarily use this snap caps for trigger control and miss fire drills. I have my kids go down range with five magazines two or three will have one or two snap cap. The zoom snap caps cycle perfectly so they never notice the difference. I used to use another brand but we were able to know when they were coming as it was not like a real round. Now with this one they just have to react accordantly and recover fast. They just don’t stay still in front of a target. I have them running obstacles taking cover and engaging different targets. It is great to see them recover and quickly put rounds down range. Every one that owns a fire arm is responsible of being efficient with it and knowing with what to do when things go wrong. We leave in an imperfect world and we have to adjust to anything and know what to do. Therefore, every fire arm owner should own snap caps.
