Lyman® A-Zoom .22 LR Training Rounds
Best for testing and dummy practice
I use these for testing and dummy aiming practice. These metal ones are much safer than the plastic ones on the market. One of the plastic ones once sheered the rim off and the next round stuffed the rest of the plastic into my barrel.
Never once had these metal ones fail in a dangerous way.
The rim will get crimped as you use them. That is supposed to happen as this deforms reducing wear on the firing pin.
After a few strikes you may need to file it back to a round shape or it will jam in the mag or the extractor wont get a grip. All these easily fixed. I get about 20 uses per one but that will vary by how it deforms.

22LR dummy rounds
Bought these to allow practice cycling of my S&W M&P15-22. Excellent would be my comment. This allows safe, non-damaging exercise of the rifle trigger and bolt action without any ill effects what so ever. Because they are rim fire, they do not have an infinite life, but there are 6 in a package and that is plenty as each can be used numerous times. Also allows you to leave one in the chamber so the rifle ( or gun ) is not in a cocked position when being stored.

Dry firing a rimfire gun has always been a no-no because of possible damage to the firing pin and the chamber. These little gems make it possible with out the fear of damage. Very glad to find these.

well worth it
great product the only problem is after dry firing more than 7 or 8 times the end starts to get a little crimped
