The same size as an actual .22 LR round, Lyman® A-Zoom .22 LR Training Rounds are precisely dimensioned functional dummies for function testing and shooter training. CNC machined from solid aluminum to precise cartridge dimensions and hard anodized, these dummy rounds load in a magazine and feed through the action just like a real round.  Designed to teach safe firearm handling, hunter education, and gun function.

  • Precisely dimensioned functional .22 LR dummy
  • CNC machined from solid aluminum to precise cartridge dimensions
  • Hard anodized for long life
  • Loads in a magazine and feeds through the action just like a real round
  • Great for testing gun function, firearm safety training, and hunter education
  • NOT snap caps

NOTE: A-Zoom training rounds are NOT snap caps. Dry firing will deform head and reduce their useful life.

Best for testing and dummy practice I use these for testing and dummy aiming practice. These metal ones are much safer than the plastic ones on the market. One of the plastic ones once sheered the rim off and the next round stuffed the rest of the plastic into my barrel. Never once had these metal ones fail in a dangerous way. The rim will get crimped as you use them. That is supposed to happen as this deforms reducing wear on the firing pin. After a few strikes you may need to file it back to a round shape or it will jam in the mag or the extractor wont get a grip. All these easily fixed. I get about 20 uses per one but that will vary by how it deforms. June 27, 2012
well worth it great product the only problem is after dry firing more than 7 or 8 times the end starts to get a little crimped December 24, 2011
