I just purchased one and it is the next thing to slice bread to say the least. I have friends, including myself that reload, I've heard different stories on which one to purchased. Well, I've loaded approxmately 80 bullets, different powder weights, and cross checked the powder weights with my old balance-beam scale. It is right on point. I would cross checked every 5 bullets. Again this scale in on point.

I am a long time reloader 40 plus years. Beam scales is what we all used. the Lyman 1200 DPS 3
has put the confidence back in my hand loading ( aging eyes)
. If you make a mistake or change your mind, the 1200 DPS rezeros in an instant. Throws charges consistant enough for MOA in most of my rifles.

Very disapointed with this product using flake & Ball powders. .3 to .7 grain errors 95% of the time. I did not try stick powder as I load for pistol's the most. Most of the buttons would not respond without multiple attempts. Fast & slow trickle not at all. Powder would spill out on platform of scale 98% of the time. At this point , I cleaned it up, boxed it up, & took it back. I'm done.

I was very pleased with this product it was recommended to me by a frend and I would recommend it to anyone who reloads and wants to save time. The ability to reload the charge weight is nice and quick. Its is just like a regular powder thrower you need to start a little low on the weight and then trickle up to the desired charge for exactness. It has a trickle function that will trickle approx 1/10 grain at a time. Good purchase no issues so far. Easy to recommend
