I have tried many jigs for flipping and swimming and find those with a line tie in the nose of the jig to be best for swimming, but some cross-eye jigs are good for swimming also.
This one is not the best swimmer because the single barrel rattle located just below the jighead causes it to hang in wood and rocky cover. Even though the jig head may clear the cover, the rattle is less forgiving. Double barrel rattles stay more out of the way than this single model.
The Booyah A-Jig, Baby Booyah, Strike King Bitsy, or even a football jig with recessed line tie do a better job sliding through cover.

I really like fishing jigs for a few reasons. I like the fact that a jig is so versatile, it can be fished in so many sutuations . I also like the fact that compaired to other lures jig are inxpensive. The best things I like about jigs it that I catch alot of basson jigs. With that said, this jig is one of the best I have ever used. The hook is super strong, I like the crossed eye, and it has loud rattles. I like the colors Black/Blue Flash, Pumkin Green Pepper, and crawdad.
