This is one of my favorite baits for throwing when the fish are schooling, add a pinch on weight to get it through the smaller fish at the top and it is simply awesome fishing

Rated 5 out of 5Â by RiverAngler Effective panfish bait
I began using the 1 3/4" Fin S Shad this spring. Using on a 1/16oz or 1/8 oz jig with size 6 or sz 4 hooks, they have been effective for white bass, crappie, bluegill, and even several walleye. Colors that produced best were albino shad, alewife, and Arkansas shad. This spring, we had clear, low water, and the Arkansas shad was best in that situation (better than Kalin and PowerBait Minnow). Very reliable, and more durable than PowerBait Minnow.

I have used the 1 3/4" and 3 1/4" FinS Shad. They do not have a slot in the belly.A:Â
No hook slot, but you do not need one. Slide the hook from the nose, through the middle of the body. Push the hook out through the back about where the dorsal fin would be. Make sure the hook comes out in the middle of the back so it will swim correctly.1 of 1
