Mine's titanium and i've used it for 6 years and only had battery replaced once. Time/date is always accurate and only time its needed to be reset is when battery was replaced. i hardly ever take it off...comfortable! I've never owned a better watch.

I bought this watch as a gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it. I asked him if there was anything he would change about it and he said no.

I needed a rugged analog watch that I can wear without having to worry about babying it. Having owned several Casios in the past, I just felt that at my age, I just looked too cheesy wearing the huge plastic power-ranger G-shocks, and wanted something different. The other thing was that I didn't want to have to use both hands to read the time at night, as I had to do to activate the luminescent display on my digital watch.
After doing some research, I found that the Luminox series are some of the cheapest high-quality analog watches out there. This watch can be clearly read at night. The numbers have a yellow dot next to them. This watch has tritium vials and does not need to be "charged" with a flashlight previously. The case is rugged steel, the mineral crystal glass is very scratch resistant. This is a good watch, but look at Ball watches or the Citizen Eco-Drive series as well.

This is my third Luminox watch I have owned and I have not been disappointed. This is a large, heavy, rugged watch that will give you many years of dependable service. I just wish the bezel had a tritium marker instead of just a luminous marker. My first watch lost about an hour every day, so I returned it to Bass Pro with no issues. They sent out a new watch that is extremely accurate.
