Luhr Jensen Needlefish
I was trolling and tried several different types of lures and catching nothing. My friend was using a needlefish and catching several. He gave me one to use and then I started catching them too. Limited out on trout an hour later and finished for the day. Great lure, it will be my first one to use from here on out.

One of the best weapon to catch trout (or matter of fact other specise of fish) in the luher jensen arsenal, cast it and let it sink and it really sinks very slowly, start you retrive very slowly and let the spoon do the catching, its fluttering action combined with flash from the tail flipper create such action fish cannot resist it. I prefer to use this spoon with UL spinning set up.

A great slow speed lure.
I also cast the Needlefish as opposed to trolling it. It casts well with light spinning gear and has a great wobble. It can be retrieved very slowly while not sinking too much thanks to its lighter weight. I have caught trout with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a spoon that can be fished effectively at slow speeds and still stay shallow.
