The 8 inch Jensen Herring Dodger will catch more 20, 30 & 40 lb. lake trout than any other lure available when rigged with the hook & hoochie(squid) attached directly to the dodger. Large lake trout are not interested in a lure on a leader behind the dodger, they want the dodger as a meal. As a fishing guide in Canada's far north this is my go to lure for large lake trout.
