My wife and I recently tent camped for four days and have concluded the loo was most convenient. In fact some campers next to our site were complaining about the long walk to the restroom facility and I just smiled and agreed. It worked as advertised, no real surprises. I have notice some complaints about the lid not staying up on its own, which it does not do. It took about two minutes to trim some of the lid material near the hinge to solve that problem. I used it in conjunction with the WAG bags and all was good, would highly recommend.

This setup is very basic but works well. Don't expect home-like comfort or you'll be disappointed. What you do get is a functional, inexpensive alternative to squatting in the woods. If you pair it with one of the privacy tents it makes a pretty nice backwoods latrine. I like that the lid closes pretty tightly - keeps the flies away. Make sure you put it on level ground - you don't want to risk tipping over!

We used this product on a recent camping trip. It was a life saver for those late-night calls of nature.

My husband is a truck driver and this is perfect to keep on the truck with trash bags very easy to dispose of......It is a must when I am out on the road with him, we used to take a regular porta-potty.....this is much easier and very handy.....someone told me you had discontinued them so I am glad to see you had not

I received my luggable loo and "wag bags" today. They fit the loo just fine. According to the manufacturer the bags biodegrade in about 8 months and are approved for disposal in household garbage. They sell for 39.95 a dozen. This may seem high but I think they are a good investment for the eco conscious. I'm no tree hugger, but I've been known to high five one now and then!
I believe there are special bags for this product but it is more cost efficient to use regular kitchen garbage bags and buy a box of the bio-gel. It comes with a scoop and you just toss in a bit of gel and then throw the whole thing in the trash.
