This seat is really light plastic, fine for young kids and women. Really put to the test with large adults, but a cheaper alternative, it serves it purpose. I would buy again.

Much more comfortable than sitting on the rim of a bucket. My 6 x 14 trailer makes the luggable loo the biggest port-o-lett in town. Happy happy happy

It is certainly a good idea and handy to have around when you have little options. However, the seat is understandably on the small side (in order to fit over a standard 5gal bucket) and is a little too flimsy and flexible to feel confident using. Also, the bucket can only hold so much before the liquid level gets high enough to be splashy and unpleasant. Unfortunately, I don't often have the ability to empty it before the next use. So probably not something people would feel good sharing. But then, a commercial Porta-John is not much better. I also wish the lid has some kind of a seal on it so when it's closed, the set up wouldn't smell, or the content wouldn't spill when you carry it around. I also had to reshape the bucket handle so it can swing up over the seat for carrying. All in all, it's definitely better than nothing, and I'm glad to have it, but perhaps there could be improvements. An alternative product is a campers porta-potty, but that would be much more expensive and more bulky to be as portable.

I received my luggable loo and "wag bags" today. They fit the loo just fine. According to the manufacturer the bags biodegrade in about 8 months and are approved for disposal in household garbage. They sell for 39.95 a dozen. This may seem high but I think they are a good investment for the eco conscious. I'm no tree hugger, but I've been known to high five one now and then!
