Lucky Craft's Pointer 78XD Extra Deep Diving jerkbaits have a very low center of gravity thanks to a special brass weight in its belly, and the low center of balance causes the Pointer 78XD to wobble and vibrate whenever the retrieve is stopped. Deadly in all water but especially in cold water, the Pointer 78XD runs true and can even be fish fast even at 10' which is a great advantage when lethargic and inactive cold-water fish want the bait to come to them.

The LC Pointer XD's are one of the best cold water jerkbaits on the market today. Yes, they are pricey which is the only negative about them, but they are well worth it. The action, hand painted color schemes, and sizes are great. I fish Lake Erie, the Niagara river and Lake Ontario, and in early spring these are my go to jerks. They'll catch anything that swims period.

I have been catching fish with the way this bait dives down deep and then swims along at that level. These baits are hard to find but Bass Pro had them. Thanks!
