Luck-E-Strike Perfect Worm Rig
no more pegging
Maybe I'm just lazy, but being able to take a step out of rigging a worm makes sense to me. This handy little device uses a Gamakatsu EWG worm hook, which is my favorite hook for most applications. If you like to use a TX rig, and especially around cover, give this a try. Since the weight is actually attached to the hook, there's no way it can get separated, which helps keep you from getting hung up as badly. There is a limited color selection, but it works. I just use the black/red glitter for dark plastics and the pumpkin/green glitter for lighter colors. Now if they only made this with a superline hook for flipping creature baits.....

This makes texas rigging worms so easy. I like to use this insted of pegging my weight while fishing in cover. The hooks are so sharp.

I love these, I'm usually putting a hook and bullet sinker on my line separately and I dont always have a toothpick to peg my weight so these are a boon!
They come in all sorts of weights which is great and the colors, specially with the glitter are a nice touch. They should mention this in the description. These are made with GAMAKATSU hooks!! My favorite brand because they are absolutely the sharpest hooks anywhere!
This is great for getting your bait down deep but still being able to wiggle it thru heavy cover without getting stuck which can happen if you have an unpegged weight setup. I'll definitely be buying more!

This hook has great strength and a very sharp point that can take a beating against rocks, brush, etc. I match this with a zoom 7 inch worm and it does wonders for nice size bass. One piece of advice I would give is to carry a small bottle of super glue on the boat with you so you can glue your worm/crawdad to the bullet shaped head. This saves quite a bit of time fishing as you don't have to reset your bait very often. I was disappointed though cause I ordered another package of these and it came with only one hook and there was suppose to be 4.
