This is my second year using these weighted worm hooks. By far my favorite for regular worm fishing. Sharp, strong hooks, and nice head design to slip through all kinds of cover.
I don't miss fish with these!

Spend the extra time using the "old reliable" Texas rig method. The length of the neck of the hook greatly weakens the strength of this rig. I use Gamakatsu hooks all the time and have no problems. Breaks off just below the weight easily. Didn't even land the fish I hooked.

Online this jighead looks "perfect", but THIS IS NOT A BASS JIG, crappie maybe if small. I got the 1/8oz 2/0 and the hook is terrible. I CAN BEND THE HOOK WITH MY FINGERS. What is a 2 or 3 # bass going to do with it?
If this really is a Gamagatzu hook, it is the weakest one I have ever seen!

This rig is perfect for worms and small stick baits. It gets through vegetation and brush flawlessly. Very few hang ups. The hook is extremely sharp and stays sharp throughout a days fishing. My favorite rig for finesse worms and stick baits.

The ones I purchased were. However, they are not as reliable as normal Gamakatsu offset worm hooks. This one broke just below the weight on my first hook up.

They will work fine with tubes as long as they are not really large. What I mean is the diameter can't be so big that the hook cannot get through the tube and in to the fish. I would use a standard wide gap tube hook under most circumstances.A:Â
