The Luck ''E'' Strike Bass Magic Shakey Tail Swimbaits are hand-painted with holographic finish and lifelike eyes--just like the Bass Magic swimbaits! The Shakey Tail can be rigged a number of ways, the most popular being a Texas rig on a skakey head.

Luck ''E'' Strike Bass Magic Shaky Head Jigs sold separately and can be found through item search for item number 38-426-962-01

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Drop Shot I've only used the Shakey Tail for drop shotting, but it is the most effective lure in my arsenal, it will catch fish when nothing else will. The one negative I would mention is that they get shredded after a few cathes. August 17, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT BAIT! this soft plastic caught me my first bass in memphis, and ive tried many different lures. It is very soft and flexible, and has a lot of action on a shakey head. the durability lacks though, but it definately pays off! August 13, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by good texas rigged this lure works great texas rigged, the paddle like tail adds water displacement, and it also makes it effective on a jig and carolina rig. February 21, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by disapointed the lure works but isn durable it falls apart after a couple of fish July 24, 2010

You can do texas rig, shakey, drop shot. Anything you'd do with a 4" worm. I like to use a standup presentation or shakey as it is fairly buoyant and has a good tail action.

Color depends on the water clarity. The "rough green" and "egyptian green" are good when you need some color for cloudy water, the pumpkin is always a good choice, and colors # 7,8,9, and 13 are good realistic "match the hatch" colors for pressured fish or clear water.

I recently used this bait on a 1/8 oz. dart head exposing the hook . I let the bait go to the bottom , rested it a few seconds then picked it up and pulled quickly about 3-4 ft. then repeated again . The worm has a nice swimming action and I was able to catch 2 small keepers . I was using the 06 Mohave color . I was happy with the bait considering we (2) had only 3 bites the entire day and 2 came on this worm .
