Some people say it really depends on the color of the water. I really like using a bright color when the water is dark, but i have also had good luck with dark baits with sparkles in dark water too.Top 500 Contributor

Depending on the how clear the water is, I'd start out with the darker ones, I like texas rigging with the least amount of wieght or none, for a nice slow drop. These have rings which make bubbles on the way down, which seem to help get thier attention. Usally hit it on the way down...Hope this helps ya out.Details:Â
Seems like a great deal but how do u rig them? Where do you put the weight and how do u fish them?Answers

All of these are rigs a bass angler should know there are plenty more but with those three you will be landing bass in no time.

The weight slides up & down the line, but instead of using a Texas rig, i just use a red or white jig head that has the same amount of weight, it works just as well or better. I found out that using the color head's really get the bass going, and I have been slaying them.Top 500 Contributor

I like to Texas rig them. To texas rig with weights you thread the line through the worm then through the bullet weights that you have and then through the hook. You then hook the top of the worms head and slide the worm to the top of the hook then turn the hook aroung so it's facing the worm and put the barb into the midsection of the worm. The hook should be inside the worm so it doesn.t get caught in weeds. This is used when you're around cover (lillies, grass, etc.). Another way is to wacky rig it. That is when you hook it through the middle of the worm and barely let the hook show. whenever you rig a worm with a weight it should either be on top of the worms head or inside of it.If you didn't understand the texas rig there is a picture on the bottom.
Good Luck,
