For crappies and smallmouth bass, the Luck-E-Strike Swimmin' Minnow is the hottest bait in the Ozarks. The Swimmin' Minnow's true-to-life minnow shape combines with its super-soft, high-action curly tail to produce some outstanding action. No tackle box is complete without at least one bag of Swimmin' Minnows!
Incredible and Irreplaceable!
The Luck E Strike Swimmin Minnow is the best small soft plastic bait I have found in a long time. I fish it on streams and small rivers, on a round 1/16 ounce jighead, 4-pound test line, with an ultralight rod. I use the firecracker pattern 2 1/4" minnow, and the smallmouth bass just can't get enough. A medium-slow retrieve over gravel flats, rock humps, and around logs works very well. It's also very effective on trout, and I have caught crappie, bream, largemouth, goggle eye, and more on this bait. It's very versatile, and now an essential addition to my bait box. Please, Bass Pro, never stop carrying this bait!

Finally found them!!
My son found a Luck E swimming minnow on the shore of our local lake. It ended up in our tackle box and I am glad it did. I have caught everything from a six pound bass, 4 pound walleye, and a 17 inch crappie on the 2 1/4 inch firecracker. As all lures do, it found a snag one day and my "lucky" lure was gone. I searched the internet for months until I finally found them. I now have every color in every size. Watch out fish!!!

Love using these for crappie and redear sunfish. they go well with a small minnow jig head. the only drawback is that they tear somewhat easily but the softness might have something to do with the fish hanging on to it longer than some other baits that i've used. the larger ones will catch saugeye and bass as well.
