The Luck E Strike Swimmin Minnow is the best small soft plastic bait I have found in a long time. I fish it on streams and small rivers, on a round 1/16 ounce jighead, 4-pound test line, with an ultralight rod. I use the firecracker pattern 2 1/4" minnow, and the smallmouth bass just can't get enough. A medium-slow retrieve over gravel flats, rock humps, and around logs works very well. It's also very effective on trout, and I have caught crappie, bream, largemouth, goggle eye, and more on this bait. It's very versatile, and now an essential addition to my bait box. Please, Bass Pro, never stop carrying this bait!
