The Lowrance® Mark-5x Pro Fishfinder is perfect for any angler who doesn't want to spend a bundle to make the leap from an entry-level finder to a pro-caliber finder. Optimized with automatic mode for high-performance finding with turn-on-and-fish ease, the Mark-5x Pro Fishfinder is designed with a high-resolution 5'', 480 x 480 pixel Film SuperTwist LCD that maximizes visibility, target detail and separation even in direct sunlight. The adjustable, bright-white LED screen and keypad backlight make for simple viewing, day or night. The dual-frequency 83/200 kHz Skimmer® transom-mount transducer with internal temp sensor provides wider sonar coverage, while the powerful 300W RMS sounder finds fish to 1,000'. In addition to the easy-to-view monochrome display and wide sonar coverage, the Mark-5x Pro Fishfinder also features simpler menu text and icons including Advanced User Mode, a new keypad for smooth one-hand control and a unique BackTrack™ tool that allows you to immediately scroll-back to review multiple pages of sonar history. Rated 1 out of 5 by bassfishingforlife Not worth it I bought this ff and used it 7 times within 30 days and just had to return it. No matter how much changing around and playing with setting I could never get the display to look like what it did on the display floor. It's difficult to read. The screen was always cluttered. I gave it many chances and had no luck with it. Cool design and easy to install but would not recommend it to anyone. Very disappointing. I exchanged it for a Garmin echo 200 and hope I have better luck with it as I'll be putting it in the water tomorrow. March 8, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by BUCKRUB44 GREAT PRODUCT I have been using LOWRANCE products for a number of years. So far, I am REALLY satisfied with the new MARK-5X PRO. I HAVE had issues with their CUSTOMER SUPPORT in the past but this unit "appears" to be the BEST one I have owned in years. SIMPLE to use and I DO recommend it to other anglers. GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY.. July 3, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fisher56 Good Value for the Money I like my Mark 5x and think it performs well for the money invested. I previously had a Lowrance X75 and the Mark 5x is better. I have not experienced the problems stated by the other reviewers. Overall I'm pleased with my unit. August 12, 2011

Rated 1 out of 5 by DWILK Junk This graph will not show brush consistently. The menu is not very user friendly. If your looking for a "depth" finder this unit will be fine. If your looking for a unit to find brush or structure, go with something else. July 8, 2011
