Rated 5 out of 5Â by tojo2 great for money
I replaced my older DSI unit which could not see in daylight, with this unit. Anyone who can't read this unit in bright sun must be friggin blind. For the money you just can't beat this unit.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by crappiefishingman Good buy
Easy to hook up and use. Clear screen, bright and easy so see. Menus are simple and quick. GPS works well. Clamped it to a trolling motor with the supplied mount for mounting to a keel. Just kept cranking a hose clamp until it flatten the mount to match the motor contour. $200 well spent.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by iamcdn Does not come with maps
Although it is implied in the description this unit ships without maps. The Lake Ontario maps will cost me another $250 for a total of $450.
For $100 less I can get the same unit at Canadian Tire WITH the maps included.
Not your best offering Bass Pro.

I replaced my x37tx with this new unit and you need to use the new transducer because it has dual beams. It is really not that hard to do.A:Â
The transducer is included and would not be the same as the one on your X37TX.Details:Â
Buying my first unit for my boat. Only get to go out 1-2 times a week. Will the color screen be that much better? Or will I be ok with the b/w screen?Answers

Finding the Right Fishfinder:http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/s...
Color will allow you a greater screen definition, making fish and structure literally "pop out" in different hues, which makes for easier interpretation and identification. I find color screens easier to see in bright light, and viewing them under dark or cloudy conditions makes them stand out positively brilliant.
Black-and-white displays still have a place in the fishfinder market, but for the difference in price, I definitely suggest going at least the route of color. Saying that, black and white is better than nothing, so if that's all your funds will allow at this time, then make the purchase.
Thanks

on the Lowrance Mark-4 Fishfinder/Chartplotter is there a way to enter, edit, delete waypoints using the computer, either via SD card or a data cable?????????????Answers
A:Â
No but that can all be done on the unit. I have even marked way points in my driveway after fishing from going back and reviewing the sonar data. I love the Mark-4!Answers
A:Â
Yes, you can add a waypoint before the lake by latitude/longitude or by selecting from the chart.Creating a route:
Routes can be created by inserting waypoints from the waypoints list or by using the cursor to position new points on the chart. You also can add waypoints to a route by selecting them from the chart screen.
