Does not provide the detail of the earlier structure scan. Vertical scan speed is locked to the side scan distance selected. Example: water depth 8 feet, side scanning 80 feet each side, idle past sunken boat 30 feet long. Old structure scan showed entire length and details of the wreck as boat idled past. New view shows short, compressed (1/2" long) line only, unrecognizable as a wreck. Lowrance tech support not helpful.
