A great product! My catch rate has at least doubled since using this. It is very easy to see structure and suspended fish. The scrollback feature is awsome too!

I've had my LSS-1 on 2 different boats now, mounted directly beneath my lower unit, and have had absolutely zero interference issues.

There is no option to mount the transducer through the hull. In the instructions, the options are trolling motor or hull.While I can't say for 100% it wouldn't work, I get the impression that it won't based on the lack of a thru-hull mounting option.
