Introducing Lodge Logic: Ready-to-use cast-iron cookware, pre-seasoned for consistent performance!
For more than 100 years, Lodge has been perfecting the process of making cast-iron cookware, formulating the perfect metal chemistry to create durable cookware with incredible heat retention and distribution. In the past, the seasoning process was never complete until someone cooked countless batches of fried chicken, catfish and cornbread in the pan or pot to burnish it to a black patina, creating a piece of cookware that could be handed down like an heirloom. Lodge Logic removes the waiting, thanks to a newly-developed seasoning process. Lodge's electrostatic spray system applies a proprietary vegetable oil combination to deeply penetrate the pores of the iron. The result? Seasoned cast-iron cookware from Lodge you can use it right out of the box.

This pan is very heavy and did just as it should. I like the way the handles are. It will last for years. The only thing I would change if I could would be to have 8 slots instead of 7. I am sure it is because of the design, but another cup to make it even would be good.

Just spoon in some dough and no more cutting! Cornbread muffins, Mini-Pizza and many more things to use this for.

I hope you like big biscuits. This thing cooks the perfect breakfast bread. Crunchy all over and soft and fluffy inside. Lightly grease and preheat the pan at 425, drop in your cut dough and 18 minutes later, look out. Make sure to make your sausage patties like hamburgers. Never clean with soap or water, just wipe out the cavities with a paper town with a little Crisco on it.

This is more for the oven, I would use a dutch oven with or without legs and a lid with a lip to hold your coals for perfect camp fire biscuits.A:Â
cast iron would be better than anything else over a campfire. nothing can hut it and it helps provide even heat to what your cookingA:Â
I am pretty positive that it can. These pans are made to last forever. I know we have several really old skillets that we have put over direct flame and we are still using them. The key is to keep it well oiled and seasoned. It will definitely need re-oiling after the amount of heat it is going to catch. All of the cast iron I believe was designed to be camp friendly.1 of 1
