I had high hopes for these gloves....we needed something for the charcoal BBQ and for camp fires. These couldn't even allow me to hold a curing cast iron fry pan. I am getting a pair of welding gloves instead!

can't go wrong with this item. you can grab almost anything with these gloves. i use them to move the HOT grill grates around, and have started to use them to move the fire pit logs from time to time and feel no heat through them at all.....highly recommended!!
