Good then. Even better today!
When it comes to live bait rigging for bass, walleye, muskie, pike and panfish, one name stands above them all. Many of today's top fishermen learned to fish using a Lindy Rig, and the best of the best still turn to the old standbys when conditions call for it!

A good rig set-up, but the leader is a bit long for casting from the shore. I ended up cutting off 3/4 of it.
Other than that it's a good set-up.

Catching walleyes could not be made simpler. On virtually any body of water in MN or Canada this rig will get the job done. For me this outfishes the bottom bouncers for one simple reason: you can feel EVERYTHING with this! For 30 years I have trusted the Lindy Rig. Don't forget to grab leaches and use them on the "minnow" version of this rig. Due to the shape of the weight, you also benefit by not getting tons of snags.
Take a kid fishing today!!!

The ice is still on the lakes so I haven't used the ones I recently baught. I have used Lindy Rigs in the past, hundreds of times, and found them extreemly productive, especially on small mouth bass. I am definately hooked on them. No pun intended.
