Decelerator System

Product Color:
Black

The LimbSaver® Decelerator System uses break-away technology to decelerate your bow string, ensuring the nock leaves the string more consistently and in a more level travel pattern. Pairs with your stabilizer to deaden string vibration and hand shock without affecting accuracy. Mounts to front or rear stabilizer holes. Adjustable to fit any bow, any brace height.
Manufacturer model #: 3752.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 28 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by good string stop This is a good string stop is a little on the heavy side but made my bow hush hush January 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 50 bucks well spent Definitely tighter groups.. and a much quieter bow now September 17, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Product I was reluctant to buy this at first....but now I'm glad I did!! Really quieted my bow and eliminated "hand shock" Couple this with a set of Limbsaver Ultra Max Vibration Dampners....like I did... and you'll love how your bow shoots. July 16, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by A nice addition to any bow I bought this string stop for my Diamond Razor Edge. And all I can say is that: a) extremely easy to install with minimum tools, b) quiets down the bow nicely, and c) eliminated the string slap I was getting from shooting my bow. The only minor negatives I can say about addition deal with it being installed to the front of the bow: a) it took a little bit of effort to be able to use my wrist sling in conjunction with the string stop, and b) the large bolt/nut used to attach the string stop to the front makes the area where your stabilizer attach look a bit odd. Overall, it's an excellent addition to the bow and for that I gave it a 4 star rating. May 16, 2012

It does what it says and I wouldn't shoot without it being on. However, it is a bit tricky to install and gets in the way of the bow sling. The best way I found to install it is to install it where the bar is on the left side of the riser and then rotate the rubber end to where the string is centered in the channel.

Yes you can, but in my opinion, the area where the stabilizer goes will look a bit odd. I've done it with my Diamond Razor Edge and it works just fine.

update:
I got this email from an associate from limbsaver when I asked if you can mount both the decelerator and stabilizer on the front,
"Yes, you can mount both with our system. It has a universal mount which allows for front or rear mount with or without using a stabilizer. "

I do not have one of these but I was wondering the same thing. In the description it states "pairs with your stabilizer" so Im sure that you can use both together if it says it is meant to be paired with it. Hope this helps

Yes. It will thread into the rear stabilizer seat if the the riser height is within the range on the model you order. It may increase accuracy, but it will dampen string vibration and sound after the arrow is released from the string.

This is more for noise than it is for accuracy and keeps the string contained so it doesn't slap your forearm. I would add one to any bow that doesn't have one just for peace of mind on both potential issues.

Cross_Compatibility

I have a PSE Vibracheck dampener. I wonder if the LimbSaver replacement module will work on the PSE, or fil on the same thread?

Answers

A:
If the riser height is the same, this will work on the PSE. You need to make sure to center it on the string and make sure the string doesn't touch before it is at its most relaxted state, or you will damage both the stop and the string causeing both to wear faster.

It may depend on which model you need. Do you have a real stabilizer hole? Some models only work with the rear hole. What is brace height on your bow. Some will only adjust out only so far. I know I will be purchasing the limbsaver because I have a bow with an 83/4" brace height and no rear stabilizer hole and this is my only choice. I think all these companies make a quality product but maybe one will work better for your unique setup. Read up on these products as best as possible to make an educated purchase.

Yes, it mounts in the sabilizer hole on the front of the bow, the STS string suppressor also makes a front mount model. I have the Limbsaver on my bow and it works great.
