I have been a Palsa stick-on strike indicator for years until this product became available. Larger in size they will hold up more split shot than a palsa and are easier to see. If the size is larger than you like you can easily just use 1/2 of the indicator or trim it down to size.
The colors on these are also better than Palsa and won't come off when the indicator package gets wet or water in it. These are awesome!

These indicators work great for trout fishing on a river or panfish/bass fishing on a lake/pond. I slide them up and down my knot less leader.

These indicators are beastly-huge. I noticed a distinct difference in the way my line went downrange and again on how it laid down on the water. The indicators are just too large for freshwater presentations. Perhaps if you're throwing 9 wt tackle at big game, but for trout I would stick to some good ol' trusty yarn and save your 3 bucks for a beer.
